Fremont County Prevention Program is seeking someone to assist the Prevention Specialist coordinate substance misuse and suicide prevention projects
and programs in Fremont County. The position will require working in the Prevention office, helping with outreach throughout the county, and possible
travel for training.
Part-time: 15-18 hours per week @ $15.00 per hour
Qualifications:
Proficiency with MS and Google, email platforms, and data management is paramount. Having excellent written and oral communication skills, and positive interpersonal and customer service skills build and nurture valuable relationships. Time management and attention to detail help keep us on track, and
doing it right the first time saves time.
Various tasks pertaining to the position:
- Organize and maintain program brochures and materials
- Organize and maintain material program files and documents
- Coordinate staff and coalition meetings, and maintain calendars
- Manage and distribute mail
- Assist with media and event reporting in PRES
- Assist Coalition/Taskforce Chair and Secretary develop and distribute meeting agendas and
notes - Assist in creation of Promo Team agenda, take notes during meetings, produce & distribute
minutes - Assist CPS & Promo Team vet social media display ads prior to publication
- At the CPS’s request –
- Prepare purchase requests and order training and operational supplies
- Schedule appointments and trainings, and maintain calendars
- keep track of school events such as back-to-school events & parent/teacher
conferences to help schedule outreach - keep track of town/city council meetings and schedule outreach/presentations
when appropriate
- keep track of school events such as back-to-school events & parent/teacher
- Facilitate phone or email surveys pertaining to prevention programs/projects
- Post events & ads on Px Partnership & SPx Taskforce Facebook pages
- Schedule venues for trainings and provide support prior, during, and after events
- Prepare communications, such as memos, emails, invoices, reports and other
correspondence - Write and edit documents from letters and reports to instructional documents
- Create and maintain data spreadsheets and filing systems; both electronic and material
